Adding a Learner to an Instructor Roster

This process is used to add a Learner to a specific class roster during class time (usually used for walk-ins) so that the Learner name is available on the ‘Mark Results’ page. A Participant Sign-In Sheet is also available for Learners to sign-in when arriving to a classroom-type course. [Video Duration – 2:33]

Dropping a Learner from the Instructor Roster

Use this process to drop a Learner’s name from a roster of a past, current, or future class that is assigned to that Instructor. Marking a “No-Show” Learner

Use this process to mark an enrolled Learner as a “no show” so their name drops from the ‘Mark Results’ page. [Video Duration – 2:28]

This process is used to mark a Learner successful (a successful score = attendance). No-show Learners should be marked as a “no-show” prior to marking results to make the process more efficient. [Video Duration – 2:16]

Marking a Test or a Performance-Based Demo Complete using the Certification

Use this process only after marking the Roster complete. It can be used to mark performance-based demonstrations as complete (or successful) or to mark tests/assessments complete (or successful) when a paper test is used. [Video Duration – 2:24]

Accessing Rosters of Other Instructor Classes (via the Catalog)

Use this process to access the rosters of classes assigned to other Instructors. This is typically used by an Instructor to drop a Learner from a class not assigned to them. It can also be used when an Instructor is unable to access the roster from their schedule when taking over a class for another Instructor at the last minute. [Video Duration – 1:33]

Dropping a Learner from an Offering

This process is used to remove a Learner’s enrollment from any Offering using the ‘People’ tab and ‘Current Enrollments’ link to drop an Offering. The drop is usually followed by enrolling the Learner into the Instructor’s current session. [Video Duration – 1:22]

Enrolling a Learner in an Offering Assessment

This process is used to enroll a Learner into an Offering Assessment when it does not appear in their learning plan. Not having a certification could be caused by not being assigned the appropriate certification. Whether or not the Instructor assigns a certification to the Learner during class, instruct the Learner to speak with their Facilitator to assure they have the correct certification assigned to them.
